The purpose of the Program for Students with Special Needs is to endow participants with a feeling of joy through creating and playing music; to extend the opportunity for self-expression to those with musical ability; to connect populations with special needs to others.<\/p>\n
It serves youth aged 9-19 with special needs, including those with autism, attention disorders, CP, Down\u2019s syndrome, blindness and mental retardation, at levels that allow them to hold an instrument.<\/p>\n
While the Conservatory offers scholarships for students, the unfortunate reality is that we are not able to help every student and family in need. Our goal is to be able to give every student the opportunity to thrive and meet their potential, without being held back by financial burdens.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>
