Where is the Conservatory located?
Most classes are offered at the main branch of the Conservatory located in Givat Ram, Jerusalem. For Andalusian and East Jerusalem branches please visit the locations page.
I would like my child to study music, but I am not sure I can pay full tuition.
Please contact the admissions office. We offer need-based scholarships to make sure no child is left behind.
There is also a discount for Jerusalem residents: yearly tuition is 7,200 NIS.
I would like to sign up my child for studies at the Conservatory. What does a standard course include?
A standard program includes:
- Weekly 60 minute instrumental lesson
- Weekly music theory class
- Participating in an orchestra/ensemble according to a student's level
- Additional 2 plays per year
- Piano accompaniment as needed in lessons, playbacks and concerts
- A stage for concerts to play throughout the year
One can also choose to join a choir or learn a second instrument, or have longer weekly instrumental lessons by joining the expanded program.
Who serves on the faculty of the Conservatory?
Our teachers include some of the best musicians in Israel with extensive teaching and performing experience.
I do not have sufficient funds to purchase a music instrument, what can I do?
Through our admissions office you can get information about renting an instrument (if requested instrument is in stock) at a subsidized price.
