The Shapira-Shoshan Scholarship Fund
Since October 7, we have been working tirelessly to support our students and staff in overcoming the sadness, grief, and hardship caused by the war, while ensuring that our children can continue to develop and pursue their art.
This fund is dedicated to honoring our two courageous graduates, Aner Shapira and Eliasaf Shoshan, who gave their lives for our country and our people.
The Conservatory has always been committed to serving all sectors of society, offering scholarships based on both need and merit. We believe that music has the power to enrich individuals and society as a whole, and that every child should have access to this incredible world, regardless of their socio-economic background. In order to meet the growing demand, increased funding is essential.
In these challenging times of war, your support will help us ensure that the transformative power of music continues to bring hope and healing to our community.

Notes of Resilience: The Shapira-Shoshan Fundraising Tour
The Academy Conservatory Saxophone Quintet, under the direction of Gersh Geller, will be performing in New York this December (2024) to raise funds for the Shapira-Shoshan Scholarship Program.
Given the challenges of traveling to Israel during these times, we’re bringing our music to you. Join us for a memorable performance, meet the ensemble, and help us shape a brighter future.
Aner Shapira, of blessed memory
Elyassaf Shoshan, of blessed memory
Elyassaf, a graduate of the Conservatory, fell in battle in Gaza on December 23rd. Eliasaf was
a talented musician, known for his warm heart and infectious smile. We embrace the family and share in their sorrow.

We believe every child, regardless of background, deserves an opportunity to experience and confidently excel in the arts.
Our teachers, of the best in the country, have taken upon themselves to give our students the finest instruction, and much more.
With your help and support we can reach many more deserving children.
